Manufacturer: Tanaka Works
Compatible with: Tanaka Works
Model guns using .38spl
Model guns using .357mag
You can enjoy the powerful ignition by using two 7mm cap gunpowder. We have developed this gun to eliminate the high barrier to entry for igniting model guns, such as maintenance and adjustment, and to maximize the appeal of the "tension of ignition".
This gun reproduces the Winchester jacketed hollow point .38 Special +P bullet (the standard at the time, equivalent to +P+ by current standards), which was manufactured for LE (Low Enforcement: law enforcement agencies) in real guns and was prohibited from use in aluminum frame revolvers because it has a higher pressure than the normal .38 Special.
This bullet was later adopted by the US Secret Service and was commonly called "Treasury Load" (because the Secret Service was under the jurisdiction of the US Treasury until 2001). It features a two-tone bullet and a silver rim case.
Our company's revolver model guns are compatible with both .38 Special and .357 Magnum.
