DESCRIPTION:

One of CYMA's newer AK models, from their famous CM-AK collection the 037 Does not disappoint - this is
a very well made model that seems to be based on the Beta-Spetnaz AK74, a newer version of the AK47
that has been set up specifically for special forces to use in CQB situations. This rifle comes with the AK74
style body and sights with the AK74 style ribbed upper cover. The stock is from the AK47 series but features
a very comfortable rubberised feel - this rubberised coating is also found on both the pistol grip and the
handguard (both upper and lower).
CYMA have incorporated a RIS rail into the lower handguard allowing for the mounting of a torch, laser or even
a grip:
(from personal experience - the "Stubby grips" work better here, as a full length grip hinders removal of the Mag)

Being as this is from CYMA's higher end series of AK-style weapons it is expected that the internals are of a
very good standard, the motor is a very nice higher powered system that allows for a rapid fire rate without
compromising any power, and the tight bore inner barrel makes up for the shorter length.
This rifle is perfect out of the box for CQB, as the shorter barrel and magazine allow for quick manoeuvrability,
while the solid stock allows for a larger battery and more accurate and constant well grouped shooing.

When used in field settings, the stubby magazine allows for the user to lie down with the rifle very close to the ground,
allowing for very stealthy and accurate shots while still being able to get a good sight picture.

PLEASE NOTE THIS RIFLE WILL TAKE NORMAL AK-STYLE MAGS,
THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE THE "STUBBY" VERSION.

Talking from personal experience, as this was the rifle I used for my first ever skirmish I have to say it performs
amazingly - I used this in a heavy woodland setting and the weapon worked fantastically, it accepted aftermarket
CYMA magazines perfectly with no modifications required (and even accepted RPK style magazines). The accuracy
was better than expected and I could easily contend with the range of the site hire MP5's and other players M4A1's
All round a fantastic gun, the only issue I had with mine was the safety selector came loose after some HEAVY use.
this was easily fixed by simply tightening up the screw from the outside.
The battery life on this rifle is fantastic - one battery lasted me almost all day (in comparison my G&P M16 uses
up to 4 batteries a day)
I would personally recommend this rifle to anyone looking for a good CQB weapon, but who does not want to take the
normal route of MP5's and M4's. - Dom. B.
