It can be used by pulling up the latch locker on the front of the main unit and inserting two AA batteries into the removed battery cap.
Power on by pressing either ↑↓ button on the back, power off by pressing both at the same time.
After turning on the power, you can adjust the brightness with the ↑↓ buttons, and switch the reticle color between red and green with the NV button.
