Highly mobile submachine gun with a total length of 270 mm, born in Czechoslovakia
The Vz.61 is a small submachine gun from Czechoslovakia, a country famous for its military industry.
The unique folding stock, which is used by extending it in a semicircle above the main body, is likened to the appearance of a scorpion with its tail raised, and it is still popular under the nickname "Scorpion".
The electric compact machine gun "Scorpion Vz.61" uses the MP7A1 compact mechanism box and micro battery EX.
Despite its compact size, it not only has sufficient performance as a main weapon, but also allows you to experience the ease of handling of the Scorpion gun.
Main features:
●Compact mechanism box: The performance of conventional electric guns is condensed into a small mechanism box. It is now possible to line up more compact models while maintaining accuracy and distance.
●Metal parts used everywhere: Metal parts are used for most of the exterior except the grip and upper receiver. The surface of the upper receiver is reproduced with a blast finish to give it an iron texture, making it a compact yet heavy model.
●Increased expandability with included parts: A joint barrel that allows the installation of a silencer and a 20mm wide underrail that can be removed with a single screw are included.
●Die-cast front/rear sights: The front sight can be adjusted up, down, left and right for the impact with the included tool. In addition, the rear sight allows you to adjust the height of the bullet in two stages.
●7.2V Micro Battery EX: A compact cartridge-type battery that can be neatly stored inside the grip. No connector connection is required, and battery replacement is easy.
●Real-size magazine: A realistic magazine that holds 58 rounds and uses a pressed steel outer shell (exterior cover).
[From the real gun]
A small submachine gun officially adopted by the former Czechoslovakia in 1961. It is said that the nickname "Scorpion" comes from the shape of the stock.
It was developed as a self-defense weapon for tank crews and aircraft pilots, but because it was compact yet had excellent rapid-fire capabilities and was easy to control thanks to the rate reducer, it was produced under license in socialist countries and was often used by security forces, special forces, and sometimes units whose main mission was assassination. It is still produced today along with its successor, the Vz83, and many police organizations in Western countries use this gun.
Since it uses small caliber ammunition, it is not suitable for urban or outdoor combat. However, in close combat, it is a very fearsome weapon, as its nickname "scorpion" suggests. In particular, operatives are said to use a tactic worthy of its name, aiming at the legs, which are not covered by body armor, and when the enemy falls, aiming at the head or other vital points.
Whenever an incident involving North Korean spy agencies occurs, this gun is almost always found in the search, and it is said that in many cases it is not a dead copy of North Korea, but an original product.
Incidentally, a copy of this gun, called the M84, is made by Zastava in Serbia (formerly Yugoslavia). During the Cold War, arms exports from communist countries to the United States were strictly regulated, but exports from the former Yugoslavia, which was a socialist country but had a neutral policy, were relatively free. A semi-automatic only model called the M84A was also manufactured and sold on the civilian market along with the stockless M84B. Width: approx. 40 mm
