P226 improved model with matte stainless steel finish

The P226 has received overwhelming support from many professionals due to its sophisticated Swiss-made parts and outstanding accuracy.
Following the "P226 Rail" equipped with a rail and its improved model "P226E2", Tokyo Marui has now added the "P226E2 Stainless Steel Model" with a stainless steel silver color to the slide and frame.
The body expresses the subtle shine and texture unique to stainless steel, and the contrast between the black outer barrel and grip panel makes it an eye-catching model.

≪Main features≫
●Stainless steel silver color finish: The slide and frame are made of stainless steel silver color. Reproduces the color and texture of stainless steel with reduced luster.
●Slide with "E2" stamped: The slide has "E2" stamped on it, which is also a feature of the P226E2 model. The color of the stamp is a gray that is not too overpowering.
●Ergonomics polymer grip: Reproduces a redesigned grip based on ergonomics. It's easy to grip even with small hands, and the textured surface provides a non-slip effect against sweat and mud.
●Short type trigger: When firing continuously, the distance to return the fully pulled trigger (trigger stroke) is approximately 40% of the normal distance, making it very easy to fire continuously.
●SA&DA hammer mechanism: Compatible with both single action, which fires after cocking the hammer, and double action, which fires simply by pulling the trigger.
●Decocking system: By lowering the decocking lever, the hammer can be returned from full cock (state where it can be fired) to half cock (state where it cannot fire).
●Powerful blowback: The slide moves back vigorously at the same time as firing, realistically reproducing the impressive appearance and intense recoil when firing.
●Die-cast magazine: Comes with a cold-resistant die-cast magazine with 25 rounds and hard chrome plating.

[From a real gun]
This automatic pistol was developed in 1980 as an improved version of the P220, which was developed as a successor to the P210 and was well received. The flagship model that forms the core of the P22x series.
Although there is no major difference in appearance from the P220, minor modifications have been made such as making the magazine double-column to increase the number of bullets, and it is robust enough to operate reliably even after being immersed in water or mud for a long time. and has extremely high durability.
In the 1980s, when the U.S. military selected the standard handgun to follow the M1911, it lost out to the Beretta M92F due to the difference in asking price (it is said that the lack of a manual safety was a bottleneck). However, it passed the trial itself and its high performance was evaluated, so it was later introduced for use by officers and special forces.
In addition to being used by the US Navy SEALs under the names Mk24 and Mk25, it is also used by military and police special forces such as the original German GSG9, British SAS, and Spanish GEO (National Police Special Operations Group). numbers are deployed. The NYPD (New York City Police Department) began offering the P226 as an option other than the Beretta M92FS and Glock 17 when choosing a handgun to be issued to its officers.
It also appears to be used in Japan's SAT, and in SAT training scenes released by the National Police Agency to the media, members of the team can be seen instantly switching from MP5s to this gun and firing. However, due to budget constraints, there don't seem to be many of them, and local SATs don't seem to be used.
Although the selling price on the market is high, it seems that some SWAT and military special forces members who are not satisfied with government-issued guns sometimes use their own money to purchase these guns.
Current models have many distinct model classifications such as "X-FIVE" and "XPRESS" based on differences in trigger action, barrel length, frame material, number of bullets, presence or absence of adjustable sights, etc. If you add in differences in caliber and coloring, the P226 alone has dozens of types.
In addition, the current trend of accessory rails varies depending on the model, with some models being pre-equipped with them and others allowing you to select whether or not they are included as an option.
As of 2012, the lineup has been reorganized, and the P226 E2 announced in 2010 has become the standard model of the P226 series. The "E2" is also omitted from the name, and it is simply "P226".
