This cutting-edge model, adopted by the German Special Forces (KSK), is based on the latest materials and research. Based on the latest research and developments, this model is based on the H&K MP7A1 submachine gun, deployed to the German Bundeswehr in 2004. The dedicated compact gearbox achieves a compact and slim body size while maintaining performance approaching that of previous AEGs. Lightweight and easy to handle, it also offers high expandability with three mounting rails on the top and both sides, allowing for the addition of various options such as red dot sights and flashlights. Moving parts such as the folding foregrip, detachable front and rear sights, and sliding stock are faithfully reproduced down to the smallest detail, allowing for authentic operation.
Main Features
● Compact Gearbox: The performance of a previous AEG is condensed into a compact gearbox. We've added a more compact model to our lineup while maintaining accuracy and range.
● Equipped with a new safety mechanism: The selector cannot be changed until the safety is engaged.
● Realistic articulation: The folding foregrip and sliding stock faithfully recreate the style and functionality of the original. It also features the detachable KSK sights unique to the MP7A1.
● Three standard mounting rails: 20mm wide metal mounting rails are provided on the top and both sides of the receiver. This allows for the attachment of various optional accessories, such as optical devices and flashlights.
● EX conversion adapter included: The EX conversion adapter allows the use of a 7.2V Micro 500 battery.
● 20-round magazine: This magazine holds 50 rounds and features a pressed metal outer shell.
[From the real gun]
Introduced in 1999 by H&K as a rival to the FN P90, this compact, portable submachine gun was called the "PDW." Later renamed the MP7, the MP7A1 was further improved after trials and is now the current production model. Although very small, it features a rotary lock bolt and gas-operated mechanism inherited from the G36.
Although it is a new-generation gun, its external design and construction are a solid extension of traditional submachine guns, revealing a different corporate culture from the P90, which was packed with innovations.
The concept is also nearly identical to the P90, as it is a PDW-type firearm for self-defense and special forces. In addition to being used for protecting and protecting rear-line troops, it can also be used as an emergency weapon for aircraft crews making an emergency landing in enemy territory.
Its features include its compactness and light weight, comparable to that of a large pistol, and the 4.6mmx30 cartridge, which was developed based on the G11's 4.7mmx33 cartridge (although it is not caseless, but uses a bottlenecked metal cartridge). H&K has announced that this new round is equal to or even superior to the P90's 5.7mmx28 round in every respect. High accuracy can be expected even with iron sights, but when equipped with optical equipment, even non-skilled special forces personnel can aim at an enemy's forehead from 200 meters away. It is also said to be quieter than the MP5SD when equipped with a silencer.
It is said to be used as the sidearm for snipers and light machine gunners in the German Bundeswehr, and is often photographed equipped with them at ceremonies and exhibitions. It has also been adopted by special forces belonging to European military and law enforcement agencies, including Germany's SEK and GSG9, the British Ministry of Defence Police, and the Italian 9th Airborne Regiment. A photo was released of the U.S. Navy DEVGRU (formerly SEAL Team 6) members who attacked and killed Osama bin Laden on May 2, 2011, all equipped with MP7A1s, causing a stir.
A pistol called the "P46" that can share bullets with the MP7, like the Five-Seven for the P90, is being developed for the German Federal Armed Forces (development name: UCP: Ultimate Combat Pistol). In 2004, a prototype incorporating the design of the company's P2000 was announced. However, development was discontinued in July 2009, as it was determined that "the shape of the pistol would not provide adequate ballistic performance."
