Equipped with an orthodox long barrel, there is a safety lever on the trigger, and it is safe when pushed to the trigger side, and can be fired when pushed forward.
By pushing the lever on the left side and advancing the barrel tube, you can load and eject 40mm type launcher cartridges up to about 120mm in length.
