You can replace the battery by rotating the head and removing it.
Pressing the lighting button on the rear of the light once will turn it on, and pressing it again will turn it off.
Turning the lever on the right side of the main unit toward the head side as viewed from the switch side turns it on all the time, and turning it toward the switch side turns it on at any time (lights up only when the switch is pressed).
In addition, by lowering the lever on the top of the switch, you can physically prevent the switch from accidentally lighting.
